The Piggy Paint is absolutely better than the traditional foul smelling chemical filled polish we’ve all used over the years. I can’t imagine using that stuff on a child’s finger nails. The polish is virtually odor free and dries rather quickly which is great since children aren’t very patient sitting to wait for their nails to dry. The color selection is fantastic. My only complaint is the durability factor. It chips very easily and will be almost completely off an active child’s finger nails within a few days. Overall I would continue to buy and use this polish on my daughter’s nails because having to frequently reapply the polish is better than the alternative in my opinion.

Piggy Paint is as Natural as Mud in the sense that every ingredient in the polish is biodegradable with no traces or residues left behind, thus it would make an excellent addition to your mulch pile. The term “resin” is quite generic and refers to any polymer which can form a film as it dries. In this sense, proteins, celluloses, sugars, and DNA, to name a few “natural” polymers, are resins and none of these are any less harmful than the resins we use in our polish.

Franklin International 5005 Titebond II Ultimate Wood Glue, 32-Ounce Bottle Reviews

I really like the PU (PolyUrethane = Gorilla) Glues for certain jobs but they can be messy. For wood to wood, however, you simply can’t beat Titebond II or III

A recent test by one of the major woodworking magazines showed that aliphatic wood glues still beat the PU glues by a significant margin for strength.

Titebond II or III are the best of these in my opinion. I’ve been a woodworker for about 25 years. There are other brands of wood glue (Elmers, etc) which are close, but the small difference in price is nothing compared to the cost of the wood or the hours I put into a project.

Titebond III is almost twice as expensive but you don’t gain a whole lot except longer work time. Technically Titebond III is waterproof while Titebond II is water resistant, so if you’re making something that will be submerged in water regularly (wooden deck on the back of a boat?) then you will want III. Patio furniture? II is fine.

It also cleans up nicely with water. After a brief fling with PU glues I’m back to wood glues for wood.

One thing – DON’T LET IT FREEZE!!! It will last for years if kept cool and dark but it will be toast if it freezes. Don’t ask me how I know this.

This stuff can’t be beat. Its open time is plenty adequate, and it grabs quickly and is very strong, just as I would expect from Titebond. You’ll split the wood before the bond breaks.
